I take a warm, relational approach to counseling and believe in the dignity of the human person. Growth and change come out of the connection that therapist and client cultivate together.
For 15 years I have been working in the mental health field. I graduated from Wheaton College Graduate School in Wheaton, IL in 2011 with a Masters in Clinical Psychology. Since then I have worked in the college setting, a residential home, group practice, and in private practice with adults, teens, and children dealing with relational issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, parenting issues, and boundary setting.
Treating the whole person matters to me as does strengthening relationships between people. Healthy connections are integral to wellness. For clients who hold a faith-based worldview, I enjoy integrating theological principles with psychological tools.
Outside of the counseling office, I like to adventure with my family, read fiction, write poetry, serve at my church, gather with friends, and appreciate beauty in any form.
